John grew up in Jonesboro and graduated from Arkansas State University before beginning his 35 year career with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company where he became certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources.
 
John and Pat moved back to Jonesboro in 2001 when John became an Executive Broker for Fred Dacus Associates. John has received the Graduate Residential Institute (GRI) cerificate and has completed hours toward the CCIM Commercial Real Estate Professional Institute certification.  As a team, they have received the Silver Award of Excellence for Outstanding Achievement and Salesmenship Abilities in real estate for the last 4 years.  They are members of the Jonesboro Board of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.
 
John and Pat have two sons, John III and Joshua. John III, Cristi, and their children Carson and Sydney live in Collierville, TN.  Joshua and his wife Ashley live in Ft. Worth, Texas and have two children Rileigh and Noah and a third child on the way.
